Bday gift from a friend!

Last week I got a most amazing Birthday gift from my dear friend Tiffa!

The painting painted by her husband of a doll I've made for Tiffa a while ago, it is huge (39 by 26 inches) and so beautiful, also Tiffa had made a set of earrings for me, left me speechless, Thank you so much guys!!!

Hello friends, I have listed on eBay my new beautiful doll "Angel's eyes", the auction will go on for 7 days!

This it the first doll from my latest prototype and as you noticed has the double jointed hip which gives her more posing variety. She is 13 inch (33cm) tall - my favorite size, I also have the single jointed hip for this prototype which makes her slightly shorter (the example of this type joint you will see soon :).
The wings took me many hours to make, they are very light (just like angel's wings should be :)), glued feather by feather from both sides, a small fur vest to hold them in place.
Her dress/corset (love making corsets by the way) is made with tiny zipper in the back, and a few swarovski crystals to decorate her outfit.
Her face I can not describe, it leaves me speechless, so let the picture speak for it self!

Silver shoes from a friend!

I have received this precious gift from my friend Tiffa, beautiful silver, gold plated shoes that she had made for my doll, they are so delicate and well made! Love them, thank you so much Tiffa :), I will always treasure them!

Angel's eyes!

I've made her delicate wings this week, feather by feather, she has her ash blonde wig and the rest is still to come.

New doll!

She is waiting for her wig.
I will upload more pictures of her later, maybe next week, I would like to give her a beautiful hair!
She is 13 inches tall and has double jointed hips, so can do more positions, I as well have the single jointed hips for this prototype.
I think her face is beautiful and very sweet, I really like the effect of sculpting with beads for her eyes, it makes the eyes look more life like.

Sculpting head with glass beads eyes.

Was taking some pictures as I was working on my new head, I used glass beads for the eyes, they are 8mm cracked glass beads and have an amazing color.
This is the head for my new model girl, she will be about 12.5 inches in size and I will show the first results already within a few days.

The tools I am using for sculpting.

Starting as usual with lighter color clay over a darker one ( prosculpt over super sculpey)

%) not very pretty yet, but two holes like that are necessary for inserting my beads.

Got carried away and forgot to snap a shot, now her lips are there and eyes took shape.

All done, now she needs to bake and only will be left to mold her.

The girl in the back will be my next doll, in fact she is baking right now in my kiln to her final porcelain stage. I can't wait to present her to you.

New wooden boxes and....

With big help of my crafty husband I have made some boxes in wood for my dolls, wood burned a little design logo, I think it looks great, will make a soft pillow for inside so that my girls have a comfy bed.
